Appointments are essential for all consultations and can be made by ringing the clinic. If you ring the clinic outside opening hours please leave a message and our reception staff will contact you upon reopening to make a suitable appointment time. Clients under Veteran’s Affairs require a current referral from their doctor while all other clients do not require a referral to see a practitioner.
All consultations are on an individual basis with the treating physiotherapist. We appreciate twenty-four hours notice of cancellation to avoid inconvenience to other clients and practitioners.
Our clinic provides gowns and requires the removal of minimum clothing. We suggest wearing loose fitting garments such as a tracksuit.
Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and physiotherapist. If your pain is acute we will attempt to see you immediately.
In order to maintain our fees at a competitive level, we require payment on the day of consultation. Clients under Workcare, TAC and Veteran’s Affairs will be billed directly to the responsible body if all requirements are met.
We accept EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, cash and cheques.
Medicare can fund physiotherapy, podiatry and exercise physiology in certain circumstances. Please consult your GP to see if you are eligible for services under the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Programme for clients with chronic conditions and complex care needs.
A rebate for our services may be claimed through your private health insurance extras cover. Please check with your private health insurance provider for details of your level of cover. Our clinic provides Hicaps facility which enables you to receive your private health insurance extras cover rebate at the time of consultation, so you only pay the gap.
We welcome feedback from clients. If you would like to contact us regarding your visit or treatment, please contact Susan Francis, General Manager, via email susanfrancis[at]physioworksvic.com.au or by calling (03) 5995 1111.
