Ben Holland has been a podiatrist since graduating from LaTrobe University in 1998.

Ben Holland is a passionate sports podiatrist, specialising in lower limb sports injury treatment, prevention and re-habilitation. Ben also has a keen interest in biomechanical gait analysis.

Ben Holland brings practical expertise to Physioworks Health Group Cranbourne working in professional sport with the North Melbourne Kangaroos in the Australian Football League (AFL). He has previously worked with the Collingwood Football Club (AFL), the Australian Socceroos during their 2010 World Cup campaign and Tennis Victoria. At the community club level his experience involves work at the Boronia and Balwyn Football clubs, and currently he is assisting Old Xavierians (VAFA).

Ben is a keen sports participant himself having played for 13 years as AFL footballer (at Melbourne and Richmond) where he learnt the latest treatments and rehabilitation for many sporting injuries. He has represented South Australia in Water Polo and now competes in long distance running, including the New York and Paris Marathons.

Ben Holland has spoken at numerous Australian Sports and Medical conferences on a range of issues including Advances in Podiatry, Sports Footwear and The Impact of Football Boots on Specific Injuries.

Ben Holland specialises in heel pain, plantar fascia injury, shin splints, achilles pain, orthotic therapy, footwear assessment and running analysis. Ben has expertise in lower limb conditions, gathered from years of treating athletes and competing as an athlete at the elite level.
