Physiotherapist Nathan Monaco has recently joined the Physioworks Health Group, consulting at Physioworks Cranbourne & Pakenham clinics.
Nathan has a passion for rehabilitation of musculoskeletal & sports injuries, and endeavours to empower his physiotherapy patients to make active lifestyle changes to facilitate their recovery.
One specific area of interest is athletic groin pain, as Nathan completed his Masters of Physiotherapy project on this topic.
In 2021, Nathan Monaco is providing his physiotherapy skill set to support the Casey Basketball Association, including as training & home match day physiotherapist to the Casey Cavaliers in the Big V Basketball season.
Nathan gained much experience implementing injury prevention and strength & conditioning programs for junior National Premier League athletes having previously worked as a rehabilitation facilitator & physiotherapy assistant at the Nunawading FC.
Having sustained a variety of injuries playing competitive basketball & football, Nathan is very familiar & empathetic to the ups & downs that occur as part of the rehabilitation process.
Physiotherapist Nathan Monaco graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University, following a Bachelor of Health Science. Nathan is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).
