Over 330 senior cricketers will be donning the whites in the Australian Over 60’s National Cricket Championships starting this weekend
Physioworks Health Group will be providing allied health care support to the event to be held at cricket grounds around the Dandenong region from November 8-13.
The event attracts 30 teams from around Australia, playing in four divisions, with each team playing three games and then finals, with all players aged over 60.
Andrew Dalwood & the team at Waverley Park Physiotherapy Centre will be at playing venues at the end of each day play to access any injuries, and will refer players to one of Physioworks four eastern Melbourne based clinics for injury treatment and management.
All players and coaches will receive a squad rate for all treatments at Physioworks clinics across the Championships.
The team at Physioworks Health Group have long term experience and commitment to cricket providing services at both the local community level and elite level, including the Victorian Bushrangers, the Melbourne Renegades, the VCA Cricket Academy & the Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club.
