Karyn Wheeler provides a range of soft tissue massage therapy services, including Sports Massage, Relaxation Massage, Soft Tissue Massage & Trauma Touch Therapy at Physioworks Camberwell.
Having studied massage therapy at the Australian College of Natural Medicine, Karyn Wheeler is a member of Australian Association of Massage Therapists.
Ensuring unique massage services of the highest quality for her clients, Karyn Wheeler completed the Trauma Touch Therapy Course certification at the Colorado School of Healing Arts (USA) in 2019.
With extensive experience in elite sport massage, Karyn Wheeler provides sports massage therapy support to the Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club (Victorian Premier Cricket) & to the Casey Cavaliers Junior & Senior squads (NBL1).
Karyn has previously worked with elite athletes as a remedial sports massage therapist & trainer with the Melbourne Football Club (AFL) & the Casey Scorpions Football Club (VFL); and in community sport with the Pakenham Football Club (AFL SE) & the Casey Demons Netball Club (BUPA VNL).
Karyn Wheeler has much experience in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) for clients experiencing problems with swelling & fluid retention post injury and/or surgery.
Karyn Wheeler has vast experience in Pregnancy Massage assisting her clients in managing some of the effects of pre & post pregnancy. She provides Infant Massage for newborn babies & also teaches Infant Massage instruction to parents.
A Senior Massage Therapist, having commenced at Physioworks Health Group in 2005, Karyn Wheeler provides soft tissue massage services at Physioworks Cranbourne & Camberwell clinics.
