A recent best health care practice initiative is the investment in two Lifepaks AED’s at both of our Cranbourne and Pakenham clinics.
The portable automated external defibrillator (AED) can save lives. It is able to treat patient’s having a cardiac arrest through defibrillation with the application of electrical therapy which stops the arrest, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm. Simple to use and fully-automatic, the AED is designed specifically for the first health care person to respond to a victim of sudden cardiac arrest.
